Reservations & Policies

What is your cancellation policy?

  • Cancel 30+ days before arrival → Refund minus $50 service fee

  • Cancel 14–29 days prior → 50% refund OR credit toward a new stay within 12 months

  • Cancel less than 14 days → No refund

  • Early departures are non-refundable

  • Group reservations: See your group contract

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-out: Before 11:00 AM

How do I check in?

Hill Country Casitas is keyless:

  • You’ll receive a door code via email/text before arrival

  • No front desk—self check-in for convenience​

Can I bring my dog? Is there a fee?

  • Yes—dogs are welcome

  • Must be pre-registered

  • Fee: $50 per dog, per night (+ tax)

How do I get to Hill Country Casitas?​

7400 McGregor Lane, Dripping Springs, TX 78620

From Austin:

  • Head west on Highway 290 towards Dripping Springs for approximately 30 miles

  • Turn right (north) on McGregor Lane and travel 8 miles zigzagging across Fitzhugh.

  • ~30 minutes from Austin

​

From San Antonio:

  • Take US-281 north towards Blanco for 74 miles.

  • Head east on TX-163 for 18 miles.

  • Turn right (east) on FM 165E and continue for 16 miles.

  • Turn right (east) on Highway 290 and continue for 4 miles.

  • Turn left (north) onto McGregor Lane and continue for 8 miles zigzagging across Fitzhugh.

  • ~60 minutes from San Antonio

Do the Casitas have TVs?

Casitas are intentionally TV-free to encourage relaxation.

TVs are available in:

  • The Retreat

  • The Ranch House

 

What is included in my stay?

Each Casita includes:

  • Luxury linens and towels

  • Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap)

  • Fully stocked kitchen + cookware

  • Coffee, tea, creamers, olive oil, salt/pepper

  • Iron, ironing board, hairdryer

  • Air conditioning + high-speed WiFi

Do you provide daily housekeeping?

  • No daily service

  • Cleaning provided after your stay

  • Mid-stay cleaning available for a fee

  • Complimentary refresh available for 5+ night stays (upon request)

Is the property accessible?

  • La Benita (Casita #9) is ADA accessible

  • Only The Pauline, Casita #1, has steps

  • Sleeps up to 4 guests

 

Food & Dining

Is there a restaurant on-site?

  • No restaurant on-site, but:

  • Each casita has a kitchen + grill

  • Guests can bring food or hire a chef

  • ​Important: Closest grocery (HEB) is ~15 miles away

  • Limited delivery options—plan ahead

  • Staff grocery pickup available (fee)

 

Transportation

  • Do you provide transportation?

  • No regular shuttle service

  • Airport or local transport can be arranged

  • Uber/Lyft availability is limited—schedule ahead

  • Private drivers available upon request

 

Pool & Property

Is the pool shared?

Yes, the pool and hot tub are shared among guests only

 

Is the pool open year-round?

  • Yes, open year-round (8 AM – 10 PM)

  • Pool is not heated

  • Hot tub heated during pool hours

  • Quiet hours: before 10 AM and after 8 PM
