Hiking Trails

The Casitas sits on 13 acres of rolling hills with a wet weather creek crossing over. Casual walking trails transverse with amazing views, some unique vegetation and maybe a fossil or two.

Reflect

The Grotto

New to The Casitas is The Grotto - a beautiful, wooded area perfect for reflecting, meditating, yoga and praying. Stations of the Cross (a walking Christian prayer with art depicting the final walk of Jesus) is available in addition to a yoga platform.

Bird Watching

We are fortunate to be in the path of migratory birds every spring and fall. See endangered species too! With birds residing all year long, their song is our soundtrack.

Rest

Porch Sitting

Need a break? One of our favorite activities is to sit on the covered porch, listen to the birds sing and enjoy the big, beautiful sky. A warm fire sets the mood! Or sit back in The Grotto and reflect or swing in a hammock in The Oak Grove.
